FTP Exploit | Access Restricted

What has happened:

Some time in the evening a Plesk FTP exploit was detected, specific ports on our routers have been blocked to evade any attack from hackers to keep customer data secure.

What This Means:

Currently this means that access to FTP, SFTP & SMB are blocked so access is restricted to these services for the time being.

Action:

Software Providers have been advised of the problem and we are awaiting a course of action, we are currently awaiting additional information and a patch to be applied to resolve the exploit, once applied all traffic for these ports will be re-opened.

Thank you

Full Internet Services Have Been Restored

All internet services have now been restored to full capacity and intermittent connectivity issues have been resolved by our upstream provider.

Our upstream provider was at the centre of a DDOS (Denial Of Service Attack) which saturated routers and servers with requests and degraded services temporarily.

We will make a further announcement regarding this issue once a complete list of details have been released and advise our course of action that we will be taking.

Thank you
